Chris Brimley plays Yamaha fretted and fretless 5-string bass guitars in the band, and also Taylor acoustic guitar.He has many years experience of playing folk music, with the Lantern Band, Three and Fourpence, and Free Range Legs and other bands, and also played bass in the innovative rock band Job Done.

Chris likes promoting variety in music, and enjoys all kinds of influences – in terms of both nationalities and styles.

Chris also likes playing fingerstyle guitar, button accordion, and 40’s swing. He has occasionally been known to sing.

Major influences include The New Victory Band, Marcel Dadi, La Bottine Souriante, Michael Chapman, James Taylor, Pink Floyd, Spooky Men’s Chorale, Pentangle, and Chris Wood/Andy Cutting.
